google chrome security error !!

hey guys am not sure if this is the right place to post my query but i didnt know where else to post.
so i use google chrome as my default web browser.. but sometimes when i try to open any web page i get this error screen . doesnt happen often but sometimes it does for no reason. what does this mean..is it some malware or virus ?

It is because the date on your computer's clock is wrong.

 

I recommend setting it up so that it automatically keeps the time and date correct:

 

  1. Click the clock
  2. Click "Change date and time settings"
  3. Switch to the "Internet Time" tab
  4. Click "Change settings..."
  5. Enable "Synchronize with an Internet time server"
  6. Click "Update now"
  7. If there was an error, try again
  8. If an error persists, then we will go from there

ok i have updated the date and time as you said.. but the clock always resets back to 2008 after the next time i switch on the computer..

Then the CMOS battery is dead.  This is the silver coin-shaped battery on the motherboard.  It can be replaced with any battery that has the same model or type number that's engraved into it.
