Hi all, i though sharing this would be great since i learned a damn lot from people who share things.
I'm mad at myself that i didn't create a build log when building up my PC 17-18months ago..
So here it is, the first time I changed the diapers of my computer and made a change in the loop.
Soo this is how my pc used to look like 17months ago:

(sry couldn't find other shots)
I had tested my loop and had run the pumps continously for 3 days during the initial setup for cleaning the rad from oil however this strange material covered my GPU blocks not long after.

(inside a GPU block after 4 months)
well the original color is this:

(can u spot the same area?)
I didn't care, because when everything works fine, that's too much hassle
4-5days ago, I was playing Max Payne. Then suddenly i heard a water noise. The ****!? There was a BIG leak in the loop. The pump was pushing the water on the the chipset! It turns out 9 fans that power up my 9x120x120mm rad had stopped. Water started boiling and the tubes dilated and boom. Time for maintenance.

I had to remove the slimy material (oil?) inside the GPU waterblock. Therefore I made a small new loop (Res-2 Pumps-1 Gpu block). Put isopropyl alcohol in it (no water, only the alcohol). It didn't help, waste of time. And bad results for my XSPC reservoir..

(it was looking completely new, no scratches, no clog, no green points, no nothing)

I'm not sure if the alcohol is the sole cause. Please share if you have any ideas ?
Here is an alien creature

nah, u know what it is:)
It's the only piece of algae that was able to grow up in the loop. Considering that there are drops of copper sulfate and a silver coil in the loop, she is fortunate to find a spot on the CPU block for growth.
I cleaned the waterblocks by oppening them up (u loose your warranty) and cleaning them with a cloth.

(they still looking sharp
)
I ordered a new res (ek basic res)
(They were the only available ones in the current city I'm living in)

I tried to put the res in a visible area (case cover has a window)

Unfortunately this didn't work. The EK Basic Reservoir had to be connected to the EK DDC-Dual Pump Top's "out" for this.. Water didn't move.
I connected the res to a less visible area and voila

(back of it)

Thanks
