It's pretty clear. The blocks are leak tested. You open the blocks, they are no longer guaranteed to be free of leaks. The block still carries ek's worthless warranty as it pertains to craftsmanship.

Don't be daft, seriously what the hell? Lot's of things can go wrong on the block, poor machining leading to bad tolerances. Oh I like the this one cuz there was one guy who got a mb block that was incomplete, no flow possible because it was not machined completely. Oh and there's the nickel plating... rofl. You've heard of that right?

You realize that to check for corrosion you have to open the block right?
