[Business Insider] Apple's victory wasn't about money or lawsuits - Page 3

I agree that this was not about money.
This was about being able get w/e ridiculous patents and sue others over them.
This was about proving that there is no common sense in courts of US.
This was about proving that with lots of money you can control everything.

I'm too tired to complete this list.

For us this lawsuit has always been about something much more important than patents or money. It’s about values. We value originality and innovation and pour our lives into making the best products on earth. And we do this to delight our customers, not for competitors to flagrantly copy.
Sounds like another b-movie straight to dvd release. Tim should become a plot writer for Hollywood. If I were one of the apple's employees I would print it out and wipe my ass with this memo for such an attitude.

Even though many pro-Windows PC users like to claim Apple users are idiots, "sheeple" and a host of other things, their behavior is the exact reason us Apple users defend Apple. When you stoop down to somewhat pathetic levels to put down an entire group, you shouldn't expect them to take it lying down.

Go Apple! biggrin.gif Sucks about FaceTime but other than that, Apple's services are the best in the world.

Many people are mad, not surprising since this is a PC based forum, on Apple's victory, and that makes me a 10 year old? rolleyes.gif

so it is alright to patent rectangle with rounded edges, is that what you are saying? or are you gonna come up with more personal and useless arguments?

this is why we are against you
you always come out and tell us you're better, but never once have i seen any apple fanboy state realfacts to support their statement
oh my computer is better, its apple
its more secure(debunked, apple would deny that you have a keylogger in until everyone gets it) it's faster(nope, old hardware for twice the price) more functional(nope, less software, close system)
what more do i gotta say? oh did i mention the fact that you break it, you buy an entirely new one and the fact that they use slave labour?

Just how did samsung copy their designs? have you seen the samsung F700? the galaxy s looks absolutely nothing alike to iphone aside from being rectangular with rounded edges...
the aspect ratio is different, power button placement is different, home button is different, softkeys is different, UI is different(unless apple invented the phone icon), speaker, camera placement is different and many many more...keep arguing otherwise with nothing to back it up.
