Any ideas what is going on? Firstly - I definately dont have any spyware/viruses etc...

These benchies were run on xp-pro, however I've also ran them on x64 and had the same choppy graphs.

I'm using my sig computer, with an older VIA Raid controller (VT6420) & Two older 36Gb Raptors.. Is this a fault of the mobo (945 chipset). The raid controller was a cheap one - but for the sake of upgrading it I might as well get a Gigabyte 965 with raid in built! (And I have no intention of doing that as that would make allendale too much easier to buy which is on the whole too much money for me at the moment).

I'm getting far lower speeds than expected, so much lower that I wonder if the Raptors are worth it. Also this damn sine wave of a graph - its really killing my average reads!
