Is my temperature normal?! - Page 2

Looks like you may want to reapply you TIM, 1 core usually runs hotter then the rest, but 10C hotter is a little more then it should be. The temps aren't bad at all. My 3570k at 4.8 ghz idles at around 10c above ambient with an H100 cooler

What does TIM stand for?

And nice temperatures, water cooling is epic!

Tim is your thermal compound. Im new to water cooling but I love it already. Im only 60-63C while folding. One day id like to do a nice gpu, cpu open loop. The closed loop does an awesome job of keepings things cool, but an open loop just looks so much cooler

Ok if I have to reaply with what must I clean it? Some alcoholic cleaning substance? How much must the alcohol percentage be? Where can I buy it in Europe?

Ok guys, ran prime95 for 5 minuts and the temps were pretty much stable after the first 2 minuts lol. These are the temps, i5-3570k @ 3.40ghz during 100% load:

Is this good or bad?

I do plan to overclock to 4.0ghz in the future. Should I clean and reaply my termal paste again? Any tips on what product to use to clean the CPU and Cooler Surface?

Thanks in advance and please reply to a n00b like me xD

EDIT: Also, why does it say that the processor is at 3.6 Ghz? Shouldn't it be 3.4Ghz? o.o? Also, the core voltage keeps changing from 0.976v at idle up to 1.120v when it goes to 100% load! Is this normal?

It was for 5:30 minuts or something, but the temperatures didn't change after the first 2 min anymore. How long must I run prime95?

Also can you tell me why I get the voltage changes and the 3.6ghz speed instead of the standard 3.4ghz?

I am also planning to reaply thermal compound after 2-3 days with a better brand of thermal compound and this time not scew it up. I think I applied 2x more than needed with the standard cooler master thermal compound that I got with that cooler. Can applying more than needed of the thermal compound be the cause of the increase the temperatures?
