Just thinking out loud (x1950Pro) - Page 4

Still will take a good amount of time before DX10 is necessary. I'd get a card of around $200 if it significantly upgrades your gaming experience.

I wont be overclocking the card, I dont really OC GPU's only CPU's and RAM. Also the benchmarks arent that great its actually benching the same as my two x1600Pro's however I blame the crappy drivers for that. I did get the DHzer0point drivers to work but not much from them.

I did the 3D test on ATi Tools and the hottest it got was 52C.

And thats all I have done for benchies. I am using the latest omega drivers also, plus my G.Skill HZ should be here tomorrow and I think that will give me a significant boost.

Well, considering I almost beat you with a single 6800GT and a P4, yes I'd upgrade. How many FPS do you get in ATI tool? I get about 850. Actually, I've never tried with my 6400. I got about 850 with my P4 at 4050mhz. So, the X1950PRO must get somewhere close to 700.

If you had the X1650 Pro Crossfire.
I definately would NOT trade for one X1950 Pro
Just think the Crossfire X1950 Pro's perform better than most any card on the market.

I didnt have the x1650's just the x1600's that where at XT speeds with GDDR3. This card performs the same as both cards, but I will get another Pro in the very near future.

Did the ATi Tools Benchmark and I believe that is faster then my two cards before.
