Electromagnetic Interference -Need help-

So I recently recieved my xonar phoebus and audiotechnica's ATH 50's.

But when I don't have any music or anything on i hear a static noise.
And now that I know if it it's really annoying.

You can also hear this interference with the case open with all the fans turned off, yes without the headphone on just from the case.

I have no single clue how to fix it? Is the Phoebus faulty? Can I make a better emi shield myself?
Other things that can cause this?

Any help is greatly appreciated guys.

Are you sure it's not capacitor whine aka coil whine?

bump, also i dont know what coil noise is, where dealing with a noob here sorry :9.

I reread your post and you said it was static noise so I doubt that it's coil whine actually. Is the sound that comes from the sound card the exact same that's coming through the headphones? If so you might want to RMA the card because that shouldn't be happening afaik.

The sound doesnt seem to be coming fromt he sound card by the way, it just picks up noise from inside of the case. It sounds electronic, and the noise from the case is exact the same as the noise from the headset.
