AMD & nvidia drivers are similar that way, they keep coming out with fixes & improvements for new games. It's worth downloading new drivers to try them out.

Not sure how often the gays come out... wink.gif. But yeah seriously as Hokies said you WILL NOT need/use 2gb vram on a 1080p tv. The sheer size of it does not determine the number of pixels, it simply means they are less dense. If you want to hop on over to the red team now is the time, as the 660ti launch causedmprice cuts across the board for AMD. I personally have a 4gb gtx 670 for my 1440p monitor, and I am aware thatm2gb would have been perfectly fine. Hope this helps!

For my personal setup, per my observation of general computing (excluding benchmarks):
4.3ghz- lowest OC where I notice a difference from stock.
4.5ghz- next level that I notice a difference from 4.3
4.6ghz- notable from previous OC's performance, and temp rise notable as well but still not concerning.
4.7-4.8- no notable difference from previous perf, but here temps start getting toasty at load.
haven't gone higher. also with each step, notable =\= significant. Just that I can tell.

As others have said. No real change in boot time with increase in CPU speed. If your overclocking, you probably wouldn't notice much change at all with 3.8Ghz since the chip already turbo boosts to 3.8 anyway. I might as well share some Cinebench scores i ran earlier at different speeds.



Highest score was 5.0Ghz, then 4.9, 4.8, 4.7, etc, till 4.5Ghz. Bottom score is 4.2Ghz. As far as I could tell, scores seemed to increase by a percentage rather than just a static value, meaning going from 4.5 to 4.6 would have less gain then 4.8. to 4.9Ghz. I reckon you should be able to reach 4.2-4.4 quite easily on air. Most can get to 4.2Ghz without changing any voltages.
