SteelSeries mouse with no acceleration / no correction?

SS offered us (team members) to choose whatever SS mouse we want, we get.

1) Which one is acceleration / correction free?

Or

2) Which one got accaptable acceleration problems and no correction?

Or

3) Which one can be easly rebuild using g400/DA/zowie am sensor?

I am asking because we have to ofc play with that mouse on LANs.

I see I will probably end up with re-branding my G400 to SteelSeries biggrin.gif

Get Steelseries MLG Sensei wink.gif

1) Ikari Laser
2) Steelseries Sensei
3) Kinzu with Deathadder would be easiest. G400 and Zoiwe scroll wheels are not compatible with SS mice.

The ikari laser seem to be acceleration and prediction free, however it have a very low perfect control speed and they probally wouldn't want to give you that because its very old now. All the others either have some either prediction or some slight acceleration

Many have done succesful mods with the kinzu + deathadder sensor so that is probally your safest bet if you dont need side buttons. I would probally go with the Sensei raw though because of its shape being great for all gripstyles and the weight is perfect. The only drawback is the up to 5% positive acceleration, but it is usually much lower

I swear by the Ikari laser but not by the build quality. No acceleration/prediction and suberb tracking. The sensei is built much better but it has acceleration in the sensor.

Skylit or someone else wil hopefully correct me if im wrong, but I could have sworn that the Ikari had prediction. AFAIK steelseries has never produced a mouse completely without acel or prediction in it's history.

It's called 'freemove' in the SS software and has a slider to completely turn angle snapping off.

The Ikari uses the Cypress ovation sensor, most of their other mice use the avago sensors that have slight acceleration.

Personally my favorite tracking mouse by far.
