Well, I'm still waiting for my Durelene tubing and silver coil to show up, but since I got my 2nd GTX 580 Hydro Copper 2 video card today, I just couldn't wait. So I installed it.
I had to drain part of my look and change a piece of tubing. I was pleasantly surprised, after reading and seeing the Maker's photos.
Even after 9 months of running on Primochill tubing and using FluidXP+ coolant, the Primochill UV tubing looked perfect. No build up, not even a film on the inside of a 6" piece of tubing I removed from the input side from my pump to the video card.
Doesn't explain what happened with the Maker's set up, but knock on wood, the Primochill UV tubing and FluidXP+ coolant is just as nice as the day I put my system together 9 months ago.
Strange.
