Hi guys,

so i just finished building my new rig,
before proceeding to OC it, I need help on how to check each part of my system to make sure its ok, for example, my ram what program to use to check that its running at 1600 and not 1333 or if i got a bad ram, also my ssd Read/writte speed being 500mb/s + and not 250ish and so on.

Could you please post at least 2 reliable and good program to test:

RAM

SSD

Also, what program to use to check my CPU/GPU speed, voltage and temp, fan speed.

Much appreciated guys

For checking RAM and CPU speed CPU-z is pretty popular. > http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html

For CPU temperature monitoring coretemp, realtemp, and hardware monitor are popular but it sounds like hardware monitor might be your best bet because of the other things you want to monitor. > http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

For GPU overclocking and other things related to the GPU try MSI afterburner. > http://event.msi.com/vga/afterburner/download.htm

For SSD/HDD benchmarking CrystalDiskMark is pretty good. > http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/Hard-Disk-Utils/CrystalDiskMark.shtml

I just tried Crystaldisk and had poor results as well, another good one is HDtune if you'd like to try that instead

Hey, try ATTO Disk Benchmark for HDD/SSD speeds.... its one of the best for SSD test
i tried it and both my read and write was a little over 500ish
