gtx 470, gtx 480, hd5850, or hd5870 off the top of my head. There are more, try looking in the market place.

You should be able to find a second hand 560 for about that price.

Brand new, a HD7770 will be your best bet.

I would probably avoid the 400 series (heat and power issues)

You can get a new 6870 for $135 http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/79010/newegg-xfx-double-d-radeon-hd-6870-1gb-gddr5-video-card-hd687azdfc-dirt-3-game-coupon

560 ti's can be had slightly above your budget on occassion http://slickdeals.net/f/5066544-PNY-GeForce-GTX-560-Ti-OC-1GB-GDDR5-PCI-Express-Video-Card-VCGGTX560TXPB-OC-S-169-99-AR-with-free-shipping
I got my GTX 560 ti 448 core edition for $190AR

But as soon as you hit the $200 mark, you're in 7850 territory which case you'd just better save for a 7850 and it'll be AMAZING.

In that case, $150 will be hard pressed to find anything NVIDIA that is best for that price bracket. A 550 ti performs at the $80 card level, which is around a 6770 which you can find for $80. http://slickdeals.net/newsearch.php#q=6770&firstonly=1

Not sure if you're serious in asking that question.

Best for the price bracket is not saying that NVIDIA's cards are perform under all $150 AMD cards....

GTX 560 Ti stomps an HD7770.
Try to get anything from GTX 470 to GTX 560 Ti. Avoid anything from AMDs HD5000 & HD6000 series as they are weak at Tessellation & DirectX11.
