This site is a life saver!

Had problems getting my FX-6100 stable at 4.2ghz, but Atomfix helped me out and now I'm sitting at 4.34ghz stable biggrin.gif

Corsair H60 with push pull
SSD - Corsair Force 3 120g
PSU - Corsair Enthusiast TX750
Wrapped up nice and breezy in Atnec's Three Hundred Illusion

I'm new to true overclocking. I had an Athlon II x2 Regor 250 that I bumped from 3.0 to 3.4 with the stock cooler but that was nothing lol. This is the first time I've had a decent chip and cooling setup to go for gold. I just hit the 5ghz club with my FX and it wouldn't have been possible without the help of this site!!!

So I was thinking about upgrading my GPU...
To be cost effective...
1. Go for a 670
2. Upgrade mobo and SLI 2 470
3. Sell my 470 and CF... (I know nothing about ATI cards... Would CF with an x16 and x4 be worth it?)

Your not really supposed to ask and respond to questions in this section, but what the hay.

Don't go for a dual graphics setup on 16x and 4x, the 4x won't release any where near the full potential of the card.

If I were you I'd go for maybe a 7950, or maybe a 660ti. The 7950's OC very well, and easily match 7970 performance. thumb.gif
