Newish Asus M5A97 Evo unlock issue

Just got a used M5A97 EVO with a 960T. Stock and 4.0GHz is running fine so far but unlocking cores does not show anything more than 4 cores.

Enabled Core unlock and either Auto or manual selection of core detection never shows anything after core 4.

If I do 1.3v the system hangs after reboot. Booting at 1.4v starts but again, only shows 4 cores detected.

Going to dive into the manual some but want to see if there is a option I'm missing?

This board has a core unlock mode, not ACC or unleash.

I'd be willing to say they are defective if they would atleast say or show 6 core and not boot. It just never shows anything past 4 cores.
