That seller has many different options and i can only tell some of them apart i would assume one that has sold the most like 1.2k times but i noticed it says not compatible with 5850 ?

I seriously considered Catleap...but initially stayed away since I didn't want to deal with gray market hardware without much warranty support. That issue is now being addressed by stores like Micro Center, who are starting to sell similar panels. Similar - as in lame stand, minimal connections, and no in-monitor color/gamma/temp adjustment. Keep in mind, games will not typically take advantage of software-based ICC color correction. Furthermore, most of these Korean panels are not going to run at 120Hz.
Sure, if you game primarily, then high res might be the ticket, but if you also use your system for productivity, you might be better served with dual monitors...if you have the desk space.
I decided to go with dual monitors at home since they work so well for me at work. Sure, I game, but I also edit documents, write code, edit images/video, and perform a wide range of other non-gaming tasks on my PC. Dual monitors give me even more room than a Catleap...and more flexibility.
I went with the 1920x1200 Dell U2412M (eIPS), which yields 3840 width. With that, I can run an IDE with all panels open on one monitor and numerous windows on the other....or have four documents open side by side...or multiple windows on one monitor with full screen video on the other. In general, it just rocks. Heck, even when I game, I can use the second monitor for my RCON tool...so I don't need to minimize to get to it.
I paid a bit more, but not much - $530 for the pair...shipped...from NewEgg Business...an authorized Dell reseller...so I also have domestic Dell warranty support.
Not bashing the Korean monitors. Just wanted to mention that they are not the solution for everyone. One size does not necessarily fit all. thumb.gif

Good thing it comes with a 1 year warranty and you can get a 3 year Square Trade Warranty on it for around 30$.. Via Amazon.com

Some of them only Have a DL Dvi imput.. your card must not have DL DVI D

So you would need another Gpu... And if your not willing to do that u may want to look at the Multi imput models...

Or Snag a 8600gts gpu to display DL DI D

Your Gpu is aged man it is time for a Nice new Smexy Sapphire 7950 thumb.gif

I considered going the route with dual monitors, ( punch myself for not taken advantage of deal a few days ago) would have to get the old desk out to fit it, but can make it work.. Having all those options you mentioned would be great as i just dont turn on pc to game, i play a few dif games(can be hours at times) but delay is not a concern in those so only game i care about that i play every here and then is bf3(and probably more such as bc3 bf4 down road) but I just wasnt sure if it would create a delay with these models which has driven me crazy already and cost $$ in damage lol

Also your monitor is not completely broken. You can spend $20 and do a little work to replace the capacitors.

When any monitor goes dim but comes on it is 99% of the time just a or a few burnt capacitors... easy fix.

FYI

If you dont want to I'll take it I'm using a dell 15"crt 1024x768.

Do you have any experience with playing bf3 on catleap, im still concerned there could be a delay as as apposed to the gaming monitor i linked, or same question for dells. Even though im not a hardcore gamer i can game for hours but still would be nice to have space on screen to have multiple things up, but it wont mean anything if i get mad and break it lol
