Good quality earbuds?

I'm looking for one or two pairs of earbuds I can use for music and working out. Good quality, durable, must look good, not too much bass (= iBeats).

I currently own a pair of Sennheiser cx 310's http://www.adidas.com/us/product/originals-sennheiser-cx-310-headphones/D51B7

Now I'm looking for backups incase something happens to my sennheisers or they see their age. I was thinking about getting razer morays because I can get a $20 deal on them

Yamaha EPH-100 and Yamaha EPH-50s are the best quality ear phones I have found via retail stores. Out of Sony, JVC, Audio Technica,Skull Candy, Bob Marley, Soul, and Beats they sound the best. I have tried/purchased several from each company trying to find the best quality.

2 months ago I purchased a pair of HFI-580s and the Yamaha EPH-50s Sound better. The bass is much better, the highs and mids are slightly better. I use a Sony Walkman E Series and Fiio E7 with Line out.


Just going off the common ones found at any Bestbuy/Target/Fry's.

I know that, still doesn't mean you can't try them. If you always take people for their word, you will miss out on many things you may have otherwise enjoyed.

The whole reason I gave the HFI-580s a try was because I wanted Stylish headphones, and everyone recommended them. After 300 hours, I think they sound like crap, but I never would have known unless I tried them for myself. My AD-700s are much better though. However both suffer from lack of bass. Going to get some Beyerdynamic DT 770 next time.


EDIT: Ah ok. I never recommended the beats if you reread you would see that.
