Hello!
I seem to be having temperature problems with Intel's stock cooler and I decided to go for a H60 as it's around the money limit I can give at this point.
I read 1-2 reviews one of which showed that with 4,8GHz Overclocked 2600k it is running around 60C. It looks a little too good to be true, so I decided to ask, what temps would I get with an i7 870? Stock and overclocked (Around 4GHz for example)? Please, everyone who has this cooler - tell me what was the improvement over the stock Intel cooler. Now I'm getting around and over 70C when gaming at stock clocks so this is way too high at least for my standards and want to pump it down a little bit. I don't mind noise, I just want a cool system.
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: Oh and for the H60, it's water cooling and.. What thermal paste should I use? Normal one or there are special ones for water cooling?
