Not sure if anyone read this but the 7950 showed both the 660ti and 670 how we do! thumb.gif

In other news, I have on order: GAZ77X-UD5H, i5-3570k, Samsung 830(256gb), 2x8gb 1600 Ripjaw. Time to let my 3.9Ghz 1055T setup take a new home as my gf system.

That review is Skewed. @ 1080 they use MSAA where nVidia is stronger at the lower resolution. When they tested 1600p, they dropped MSAA for the lower quality FXAA that clearly favors nVidia. The Real life performance gap would be even wider if both used MSAA.

I always felt that the guys over at [H] leaned in that direction. Thanks for pointing that out, I had no idea about that. Doesn't matter, in a few weeks I should be getting another 7950PCS+ and then I wont have a care in the world, that is until I have to decide on my Eyefinity setup! I'm doing well financially and decided it was time to make the rig I always wanted. I currently use a Samsung T260HD which I love but they stopped making them.

Doesnt matter one bit because the 7950 was still impressive. Even at a so-called disadvantage the ATI came out on top.

Pretty shocking to see the effect of the 660Ti bus' effect on bandwidth with the memory overclocked so much.

660Ti 1902mhz memory clock, 182.6gb/sec bandwidth
7950 1700mhz memory clock, 326.4gb/sec bandwidth

What can we say gentlemen... my highest settings for my card so far have been 1200/1350@ 1.120v. Once I finish my new build later this week I plan on seeing what the memory can do, curious about how well the hsf covers memory chips on my 7950PCS+ and if that could become a factor. Anyone hear about any 7950's breaking into the 1300's gpu wise?
