Corsair H60 screws

Thread Starter
Hello everyone,

I have got Corsair H60 for my Core i7 2600k. I'd like to add one more fan but I'm missing screws. Anyone got idea where I can buy official screws or what size can fit?

Thanks

Thanks, I will try to ask at the shop tomorrow.

Is there any chance to get official screws or it really doesn't matter which ones will be there?

They're just 6/32 thread machine fasteners. You can get them at most any small local hardware store, only issue is getting the right length as sometimes the 1.25" length isn't stocked...in which case just buy 1.5" and dremel down to size.

It doesn't matter. A screw is a screw, just get one that fits the size mentioned in that thread and all should work well.
Keep in mind that it is recommended that if you do a push & pull setup, the two fans should be the same to prevent any interference.

might i remind you that if u get 1.50 inch screw u have the danger of puncturing the water tubes in the rad which will void your warranty

That is solved by the one legitimate use of a Dremel moto-tool. smile.gif

It's not just in Czhech, last weekend I had to drive all the way to the store, and they basically told me to get lost :/.
Depending on the fans, you can try to use thin zip ties on one side and use the screws on the other to bolt it to the case.

I found a hardware store with screws. They're not same as recommended ones but it works well.
