Hi guys, I know, I already have a thread, but this is going to be a whole new mod. I got this case from a friend/fellow forum member Cammiso94 a while back and haven't really done much with it since. I recently sold my E-ATX setup and picked up a M-ITX setup, but I don't have a case yet so I thought, why not make use of the XPS case.
First off I just want to say this case is massive, its a monster. The top portion of the case and the bottom plate are going to be used in this mod. The really cool thing about this case is that the top and bottom are almost identical, which should make this a little less painful. I am going to cut both side panels above the center where it has a curve to make it about half the size it originally was. The front and rear bezel are going to be cut to fit also. As for motherboard mounting, the board is going to sit below the PSU on the bottom of the case, this might change though. Here is a concept picture just to show what I am thinking, I might make a scale one in Sketchup later.
What do you guys think? Any suggestions?
