Cm suggestion for sure.
C destroys the clean look and cooling.

Would be nice if CM implements this. Mind you myself and many others bugged CM for over a year and a half to release an updated door designed for the Coolermaster Cosmos S that would reposition the side door fan so that it would not interfere with tower coolers (major oversight in the first place as the 200mm door fan provided virtually all of the air intake). Despite promising it in their forums and responding back via email that it was coming (I was one of those that they responded to), it never came to light. I ended up getting rid of the case for that reason. Loved that case, disappointing that they could not follow through on a design update that should have been part of the original design.

Well this will turn out to be the same deal.

Im going to try to make my own windows as so many have done already, because CM said they would make a window, then put up a petition on facebook, which has ultimately led to nothing.

I'm glad you like my mod....

I made a few small upgrades to the panel, because I did not like the flying lead to connect the fans on the side panel, I made a quick release connector for the power supply fan ...
to achieve fast connection I used an old notebook ..

and here is the final result....

the method I created works perfectly, when you open the panel and disconnect the fans stop, on the contrary closing link and run, so you can remove the panel without disconnecting the cables with your hands, and above all there are no more loose wires ...

here is the final result with leds

Like Tweetbix above me said, that is just brilliant work! thumb.gif

I gave up on the windowed side panel for this case, so I handed my panel over to local modder tantric for some work.

Not too shabby.

to do so I had to use a lot of my free time as it is not easy modding the panel of the Cosmos II because of its characteristics....
zk1mpls, nice work also your window ... congratulations ....thumb.gif

just out of curiosity, did you have to make any mods to the removable filter cover for the cables to reach the fans and vice versa for the fans to reach the (for a lack of a better word im just going to say: ) power connector?

Also how long did it take to make that window. What was required to make it? (for example, plastic welding or fibre glassing to get that smooth inner edge where it been cut?)
I was going to be using a single piece of acrylic to make the window, but the more i thought about it, the more i wanted to retain the filters and fan locations.
