How to clean a Razer Goliathus Speed

I've done a research about it and people say many different things about it. Some say it is best to use just water. Some say soap. Some say head&shoulders (well, i didn't get this one neither) and the others say put some detergent on it.

I actually used a brush like in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNGQ8PJfB-s and i ruined mine. My abyssus jitters like hell and i cannot move it freely on the surface.

Maybe the damage is done i don't know. Share your experience about cleaning cloth mousepads please.

Washing machine.

Use a wash bag for delicate things (like womens lingerie). Put mat inside. Let it wash.

Dry it rubber side down on a towel dryier. Put a towel first on the towel dryier then put the mat on it (so that you dont damage the rubber base)
Wait for a couple of hours(overnight).

Good as new.

I used to have a Goliathus Speed and found that just tossing it in the washing machine worked great. Then I'd just throw it over the back of a chair on the patio to let it air dry.

I clean mine with tide and a soft toothbrush.
Rinse good so there's no soap left pat down with a towel. Lay on a flat surface to let dry and if you have a fan put it in front of or under the fan.

Sorry for asking again.
I do not want to put the whole thing in the washing machine.
It is good , but there is this spot where i mostly move my mouse , it is kinda more resistive than the rest of the mouse , is there are any other way to clean it without having to put it in the washing machine ?

I usually clean my mouse pads with "multiperpose office wipes" from office depot. Probably not as thorough as using the washing machine, but does the job and is not too abrasive. You get a lot of wipes in a tub, so you can clean it quite often and no major dirt builds up. It takes about 5 mins max to clean, I just keep rubbing the mat and changing to a fresh side (of a wipe), until I look at the wipe and its not picking up dirt any more. Don't use a wipe which tears apart easily, like tissue, or you can end up with little particles of it embedded in the weave of the pad. Probably a better idea is to get a non abrasive lint free cloth, and some kind of cleaner to spray on it. I just have the office wipes already here, so cba to get a spray and cloth ;D
