Closest competitor is user Blaze0303. He/She benches at 1250MHz / 1900MHz and reaches a graphics score of 10224 in 3DMark 11. Mine is marginally faster and touches 1280-1285MHz on the core and nets a graphics score of ~10600. I would never have given the 7950 a look if it weren't for the 7970 duds that I previously owned for a short while before refunding but thank the computer gods! I ain't going back
On another note, I am seriously considering picking up another for crossfire.CFX 7950 @ 1200 / 1600 24/7

You seem to be running a 1080p monitor. the HD 7950 at 1200 Mhz is seriously going to have no problems running any game out there at 60+ fps. the only game which might slow your card down is Metro 2033 with MSAA and DOF. Frankly there is no other game out there which can make you feel your card is slow. Heck i played Metro 2033 on my HD 6950 at very high settings AAA without DOF and found it very playable. around 40+ fps. I don't know why you want another card at all. In fact cooling two cards in CF is more difficult. I would say stick to a single HD 7950. enjoy the performance. if possible check out the game Sleeping Dogs. Did you get the game bundled with your card. I have been playing sleeping dogs and its a really nice game. there is an in built benchmark . if possible post your benchmark scores in the sleeping dogs thread and a feedback of in game performance at the highest settings.
