So I guess one of the things I am looking for is ease of use with these things. I have been fairly happy with AS5, its easy and performs pretty solid IMO, but was looking to find a couple of ways to drop my temp while pushing my OC.

PK-1 should not be any more difficult to apply than AS5. Indeed you should be able to apply them exactly the same way.
Anyway, PK-3 seems to be an improvement.
Shouldn't be.
CPU would have been fine at 91C plus for 15 months straight.
Temperature rating for AMD and Intel actually aren't appreciably different; there is simply no way to get a good idea of on-die temps on AMD CPUs currently.
Honestly, I'd do the reflow with the system powered down. Just heat the heatsink up with a heat gun. With no electricity going to them, most CPUs can easily survive a few minutes of 150C or more, with no ill effects.

I've found Noctua the easiest to apply and remove with no curing hassles or conductive dangers to worry about. Fills thicker gaps a bit easier too, for say your Mobo heatsinks. But from what I've gathered, it's a few degrees off of the best out there. So you can get better than Noctua, but at what cost? I'd go with easy to use anyday. Like from what I read about Arctic Silver MX2. I was debating Indigo Extreme for my next build, and esp since I aim to dedid the CPU and put a liquid metal TIM in place of the crappy Intel TIM.

I've had really bad luck with PK-1, the cure time is way too long. In my experience if you don't let it cure for hours it will remain in near liquid form. I hate it. These days I like MX-4 and TX-2 the best.
As far as indigo extreme, i'd say definitely NOT worth it

PK-1 does have a very low viscosity, but it shouldn't need much in the way of cure time at all. Are you sure your TIM hadn't separated?
PK-2 and 3 have a lower proportion of oil and are much thicker.

Pssh, Indigo Extreme is SO two months ago... I am using Nano-C1, it's awesome! Sure, it's not really easy to apply and it takes awhile, but all you need is an industrial laboratory, electron microscope, and some really pointy tweezers. Then you just arrange the carbon nanotubes standing upward in approximately 7,946,722,634.3 lines consisting of 6,973,390,317.8 nanotubes each. Sure, it takes a little while, but no reflow, cure time, and you can expect a solid 20C drop in temps! Easy!
For real though, I say stick with PK1. Inexpensive and a fantastic performer.

Again, I would recommend the MX-4 instead which is cheaper and easy to apply, like easier than AS5 (don't know how is the PK-1). Temps-wise they are on par, maybe slight advantage for the PK-1, ~1°C.
