Wanted: 5770 Egg cooler

Will Ship To: Anywhere

The fan went out on my 5770 and because most aftermarket heatsinks don't mount on the 5770 so I had to resort to finding an OEM one.
Must have a working fan of course.

I know this may be a long shot and no I'm not buying a new GPU. My current one does fine. tongue.gif

Deepcool makes universal gpu coolers, im sure they have one that will fit a 5770.
I was about to buy one of these if I hadnt managed to repair the fan on my HD3650:

Look for these in your country:

I know what coolers there is available for it, but they are costly and take up three slots.

If you're going cheap, you may as well ghetto rig that bad boy. Get a 80/90/92mm fan, take out your old fan, and duct tape the new one over the spot where it went. I've actually done this with my 5770 before when I was bored and wanted to play around with a spare fan. Temps are fine, especially since 5770's don't run too hot.

Just a suggestion.

I use to have a 5770, i had this cooler on it and it was still a 2 slot card, silent and great performance. Its a little pricy but it works well. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118006

I actually have three VF900s. None of them make proper contact with the die. The mounting bolts are too long.

It's what I'm doing, but I need a two slot solution.
