Points This Foldathon

The Foldathon is a 2-day period each month where we Fold on any and all clients we can get our hands on. You might not be able to Fold 24/7, but if you're a Folder, there's no excuse not to Fold for these 48 hours.

This year, we're using every second Foldathon to highlight some of the lesser known diseases that the Folding@Home Project researches (directly or indirectly).  At the request of a member, we have chosen to dedicate this Foldathon to Christopher Schroeder though.

 

 

 

Who is Christopher Schroeder?

Some very close friends of ours just came back from a Motorcycle Ride for Charity for Christopher Schroeder. They raised over $3000 for the family and all proceeds went directly to the family. There was a silent auction for some Harley Davidson Gear, Golf Packages, Dinners for Two, Massages, etc. The $20 entry fee per bike was also given directly to the family. They rode pass little Christophers house halfway through the ride and the little guy was out on his dirtbike at the end of the driveway waving to everyone that rode past.

 

6 year old Christopher, son to Michelle & Tom Schroeder of Baroda was recently diagnosed with Leukemia. He currently is receiving chemo treatments at Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor.
