Is my new 670 ftw fried?

I took the card out to blow some dust out of it and when i put it back in all i got was 9 beeps from my mobo and then a black screen, i had to take the card out to be able to come once here and see whats wrong? Need help badly!!!!!!

But seriously, try reseating both into the PCI-E slot and reseating the power cables to the video card.

Try to install it once more, there's a chance you haven't inserted it properly. also check that you connected the power supply cables (6pins)

Its a leased card that i paid $575 for and its going back tomorrow, and im getting a 7970, 680 or a 6990 .I didnt pay that much for a card to have any trouble what so ever

I couldn't really tell you between the 7970 or the 680 but I would rule out the 6990. It's still a great card but after having tried an SLI setup I didn't find the hassles to be worth it. From what I've heard crossfire is the same as SLI; great performance increases but the occasional game will either have a few quirks or will flat out not work with it.

From your game library figure out which games you play the most often and look up reviews of the 7970/680 to see which pulls ahead in each game.
