XSPC Rasa 750 RS360 Universal Kit

Thread Starter
Is the XSPC Rasa 750 RS360 Universal kit a good watercooler? I plan to overclock my amd fx 4100 to 5ghz and I was wondering whether this watercooling will keep a nice cool temp,
Or there is the XSPC Rasa 750 RX240 Universal kit but this one has a 2x120mm radiator and the other one has a 3x120mm radiator.
(They're both around the same price tag)

What one will work best?
My case is the nzxt guardian.

Thanks.

Or would it be cheaper or around the same price to make a custom loop?

With the same stock kit fans, the 120.3 RS radiator will cool more than the 120.2 RX radiator.

I do not own an AMD fx 4100 so can't give you advice on temps except to say that a 120.3 radiator is usually adequate. At worse you would need faster fans but the XSPC stock fans are usually good ones. Do you know which are in each kit and the rpm? You can calculate the air-water delta T and quantify the difference in rads.

Make sure the NZXT Guardian can fit what you intend to purchase. You will want to know where to put what size radiator and how much extra room there is if you add push/pull fans instead of push only.

Martin210 (martinsliquidlab) has tested both radiators extensively. Good luck. smile.gif

Just read your second post. It won't be cheaper for custom but may be more fun. biggrin.gif

I suggest looking for build-logs using the NZXT Guardian. Start with searches on this forum. You may find something that appeals to you. Have fun. smile.gif

Haha I've just decided to go with a Noctua NH D-14 and upgrading my cpu to a i5 3570K and mobo to ASrock extreme4.
Thanks anyway
