Need help testing PSU (Los Angeles)

Thread Starter
Hey Overclock.net, just wondering if anyone here can help me out.

I ordered a new PSU from Newegg because it was on sale (Seasonic Plantinum 1000w). However, the rest of my system's components won't be arriving until a few more weeks later, unfortunately.

I was wondering if anyone in the Los Angeles area would be kind enough to help me test my PSU to see if it is working properly. I don't want a defective unit that I can't RMA with the retailer when the rest of my system components arrive.

Thanks...

There is a guide here

http://www.overclock.net/t/96712/how-to-jump-start-a-power-supply-psu-test-a-power-supply-and-components

that'll tell you how to jump it and if it turns on you're golden, don't leave it on for too long or you could damage it.
