Going to buy a switch today and read that you can put a 420mm rad up top and figured its better cooling then a 360 rad (right?), So need some help on choosing a 420 rad and what fans to put in just push. Thanks

Just be careful as most 420mm radiatos will require a bit of modding as there is no standard fan spacing for 140mm fan rads. You might want to check the Official NZXT Switch 810 Thread for references.
Also beware of 60mm thick radiators as it may pose a problem mounting depending on your motherboard VRM heatsinks and 4/8pin CPU power.
I'm going to go with the Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 420mm in my switch!

I would recommend any of the Black Ice radiators, they have solid build qualities and perform well. The Switch 810 if I recall correctly uses 15mm spacing on the holes, and all Black Ice radiators use 15mm spacing.
If you're going for low-noise cooling, I would recommend the Black Ice SR-1 420. If you're going for maximum cooling, the Black Ice GTX 420 really can't be beat.
As for 140mm fans, the choices are really limited. I do quite like the specs of the Bgears B-Blaster 140mm fans. They use a double ball-bearing design (same bearing type as the Gentle Typhoons), so they should undervolt quite nicely and last a long time. The reviews on them are generally all favorable as well.

HWLabs uses 20mm spacing on their 140mm radiators. AFAIK the Switch uses 20mm spacing for the top radiator, but do not quote me on this. I wouldn't suggest any Black Ice radiators besides the SR1. They have too high of an FPI, which requires the use of high-speed high-pressure fans. For 20mm spacing grab either the SR1 or Thermochill PA140.3 if you can find one. Those are pretty much the only radiators w/ 20mm spacing, yet that is what most cases use.

Ah, that's right, it's 20mm spacing. Well, whatever it is, it appears that most other manufacturers use 15mm spacing, while HWLabs uses 20mm spacing. In either case, what I remembered is that the Switch 810 used the same spacing as HWLabs radiators.
That EX420 will not fit in the Switch 810 without modding.
I suggested the SR-1 if you wanted quiet cooling. In terms of pure cooling performance, very few (if any) radiators can beat the GTX series with the proper fans. And proper fans don't need to be ultra-high speed, just using AP-15s on the GTX 360 gave them a significant cooling advantage compared to the competition as tested by Skinneelabs. Granted, their tests aren't complete, but you could see the trend.

I love the switch

If you're an AMD user you're probably good for 60mm rads with push pull, most high end amd boards are shaped like mine

This rad would be nice, it would work really well with 3- 140 x 120 fan shrouds and 3 x 120 CM R4 fans. They are very quiet and have good static pressure, I use them on my Monsta 420 rad. Best of luck with build ! Originally Posted by iMica

If you are comfortable with drilling all of 8 small screw holes in the top (which can't be seen), and is really very easy. Doing so means that you can use any radiator you want, rather than being stuck with 2-3 choices instead of 25-30.
I would highly recommend either of the following two rads: XSPC EX420 or Alphacool NeXXos UT60 (or XT45).
They are both the newest radiator designs and each incorporates some new and performance enhancing features, such as the 19 split fins per inch of the EX420 (which gives it the ability to work well at lower speeds, while also making it one of the absolute best scaling rad when it comes to fan speeds, outperforming its 60mm thick brother the RX series by a good amount at speeds above 1200rpm), and the full-copper construction of the NeXXos UT60 giving it phenomenal performance and it is also an incredible radiator over every fan speed level.
I went with the EX420 for the top and the UT60 240 for the bottom of my Switch, and I have 6x Bgears Blasters 140mm 1800rpm for push pull on the EX420. There is no better performing 140mm rad fan in terms of static pressure, with the Bgears putting out 3.5mmHg static pressure and a whopping 103cfm at 1800rpm. The dual ball bearings allow it to perform well in any orientation, which is important, and best of all they are incredibly inexpensive at $8-11/ea.
