i dont even know how to get on the general thread so here i go on this forum-i have four questions-#1-i am looking to buy a new computer-i play NO games and do not download movies- use the internet for emails- surfing and watching sports on their individual sites-nba mlb nfl-the games are sometimes in slow motion and sometimes freeze up on me-my computer is 8 years old-which is best for me -the amn fx-6100 processor-or the intel i5 processor-#2-can a computer idiot like me add an extra fan to my computer and will it improve the performance of the computer-#3-i wish to watch the games through the computer on my tv-is it hard to hook up this way-#4-which tv is the best to buy for this type of viewing-thank you ever so much-stephen

1, What's your budget?
2, Not for the unskilled, And, no, a fan will not improve performance.
3, Depends on what outputs your laptop has and what inputs the TV has.

1. Neither, because a desktop is impractical for what you want to do.
Get a good laptop. Customize it to your liking, and then search the internet for "HP laptop coupon" (or something like that).
You're sure to find a good discount code; HP runs specials constantly.
Now that we're talking laptops, I suggest the intel i5 or i7 in one of those.
2. No
3. No, just use the HDMI interface and get a cheap HDMI cable from the internet.
4. Any TV with HDMI
