External HDD and router password issue

I finally decided to hook up my external HDD to my Linksys E3000 router so I can access all my files from every device on the network. I succesfully added it to the share section of the router. Now I have to make it shareable in windows. But it doesn't accept my password? Here are same pictures for illustration:

I clicked on Finish, then I saw this:

Which password? My routers password? That didn't work and I haven't added a password either...

And just to be sure I checked this:

Password is even off so it shoulden't even be asking for one... Right?

Maybe it's a Windows 8 glitch or something?

OK, I'm finally in. Username and password turned out both to be "admin". WT#?

Next question, how do I change those to my own?

I would assume it's due to the password on your Router that needs to be changed to do it.

admin/admin is usually the default username and password for Linksys Routers.

I know... But the password of my router isn't that. It's much different from "admin". Obviously. tongue.gif

When I enter 192.168.1.1 in my browser, I can't seem to find any password's other than the router itself...
