Are we sure Chrome's sandbox doesn't protect us? I mean, I always thought of it as a VM kind of environment....

Scary none-the-less.

I know for a fact its the only thing keeping food in my mouth, while I look for a new job. I don't know where I would be without craigslist.

If something big (like this exploit) happened and a lot of people were affected or even just a business with a dozen or so PCs, that's some nice extra cash for the weekend. When it comes to serious jobs like that with multiple systems to be fixed, I'm willing to give up an entire Saturday for that type of work.

Me and a buddy alternate doing repair work (we have both our cell phones set up with the same business Google Talk number so all calls ring to both of us). Easiest cash we've ever earned on a job was to set up 20 new PCs in a new business. $200 per PC including networking them together (wires were already run), printer and software setup, $4,000 for a few hours work. thumb.gif

This. Its more likely the exploit technically works on the Chrome Java plugin, but gets stuck in the sandbox.
