getting a new block is not a problem as it will arrive on thursday, and pedestal and extended top for my case wont arrive till then either so i wont have to wait any longer, so if i can get a better block for the same price i will smile.gif
I have a water cooling guide in the wc sticky(located in sig as well). I also have a video on how to install the raystorm waterblock as well(ill post it here). I dont think the hk is worth it.

What i read was that there was a problem with the backplate on the RIVE due to the one already installed, or something like that. From what i read, the EK supreme hf is very slightly better than the raystorm, but the raystorm is better because its alot cheaper, but i can get the ek for the same price as the raystorm, so what one would be better with equal price?
Also i have watched most of your videos already, they are great and have helped alot with my decisions and planning, so thanks for that biggrin.gif

The XSPC Raystorm does not need a backplate for LGA2011 chips. Their posts screw directly into the LGA2011 socket.

Here is the XSPC page with information: http://www.xs-pc.com/2011/11/lga2011-fixing-set-for-rasa-and-raystorm/

Thank you that helps me biggrin.gif
now i am 50/50 for getting a new block vs keeping raystorm when it arrives.

if i am to buy a new one, it needs to be early tomorow ( about 10 hours time) so if anyone can tell me what block to get before then that would be great.

Decided not to bother sending it back, as long as i get better temps than a h100 i will be happy, this loop was meant to be gpu only to start with
