I'm calling shenanigans on that one, but if true, AMD needs to get on the ball.
Hahahaha, 3 x 0 = 0. meaning still can't touch AMD APUs.

You mean Dolphin? because as far as I know, PCSX2 should run at 60fps all the time with any sandy bridge CPU or better. Dolphin on the other hand still has room for more IPC (depending which game, of course).

On Laptop is a good feature, Nvidia able to disable their dedicated GPU when is not in use and used the Intel HD for non-intensive task, so ya, i forgot what they call tho, i think is Nvidia ION?

Nvidia Optimus and AMD Enduro.

My laptop's got Enduro and I gotta say that it works really well. I can cruise around on the HD4000 for the net and whatever (you can actually tell it what applications you want the card on for and what you want for integrated) and then when I game the 7970M kills whatever I'm playing. For anybody else with 7970M you should definitely upgrade to 12.8, I got ~10% speed improvement.

I have always thought that the tick tock thing doesn't make sense. If you call new architecture a tock that means Ivy was a tick, sandy was a tock, and the first gen Core "i" series CPU was a tick. That doesn't make sense because the first gen core "i" CPU's where a brand new type of CPU.

Problem is Intel's R&D budget is probably more than AMD worth all together, so should they wish to really outdo AMD IGP they can just throw money at the problem and while sometimes it doesn't work, when you have that much money and little competition on CPU side, it just can't fail, so it's a matter of will and time, outcome in obvious.

If you get a chance to visit intel fabs you'll be sure that even intel diners have more budget than amd's R&D.
Their CEO is to blame? Something was with him ruining some other company. Don't remember actual article, just bits. Intel is serious about this, so we might see some epic products soon enough.
