2 months ago I made a post asking about what hardware should I get to my new computer, well, next month someone is comming from USA with my parts so I have to order NOW, the question is which ram should I get? I was going to get this one =>
http://www.compusa.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1586669&CatId=4534

but then this one appered! =>
http://www.compusa.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2958862&CatId=4534

the 1st one has better timming but it is 2133mhz, and it is quad channel I think?. it doesnt say anything about quad, but 4 modules = quad?

The 2nd one hasnt a good timming, but it has 2400mhz, it says dual channel, but 4 modules shouldn't be quad channel?

I think the 1st one is the best, quad channel + better timming, right? And as far as I discussed on this forum, 2133mhz vs 2400 mhz = no difference in gamming.

the corsair platinums are better, probably the reason they were released after the dominator GT redface.gif also if you can pay the premium, no reason not to go with the platinums.

$300 is impossible for dual channel, maybe if it was 4x2 at say 1ghz.

Marketing, 4 x sticks can work as dual channel or quad channel, depending on the system it's in. If they are marketing as a kit for z77 they will call it dual channel kit, for x79 they would call it a quad channel kit.

Looks like they're calling it a dual channel kit, but it is 4 x 4Gb. Kinda confusing the way they say Dual-channel DHX cooling system, no idea what dual channel cooling refers to.
