Wow, a single 8800GTX performs better then 7900GTX SLI at 2560 x 1600... and according to the Anandtech review, it only uses 8% more power then the X1950XTX, which is much more reasonable then what we saw earlier...

No one actually saw anything earlier about PSU requirements, it was just rumors.

Earlier some based their assumptions on the fact that is R580 has 300M trasnsistors and consumes 200w, the G80 which has 600+M transistors may consume in excess of 400w, which obviously isn't true.

Frankly I'm surprised how much 3D power is under the G80's hood and how small is the consomation.

Man those are some awesome benchmarks, the x1950XTX in crossfire beats 1 G80 in 3dmark, but on the games the G80 is faster.

G80 SLI is just insane!
