Need a good mouse for FPS.. mainly BF3. For the love of God do not recommend me any more razer...

Thread Starter
I want a good mouse for BF3.

I don't want a razer mouse. Horrible build quality that lasts 6-12 months before something craps out.

Hell I still have my old Logitech gaming mouse (early 2000s) working strong, but ofc it is not as good anymore lol.

I play shooters mainly, and I play a bit differently I guess. I snipe with about 2000dpi, assault/engi/support with 4000dpi, and fly with max 5600dpi on my naga. I like the naga, but it keeps on double clicking all the time to the point that I empty my freaking magazine or open a billion firefox windows.

I tried to fix it by opening it, but that only fixes it for like 30 min... This is my second naga in a year and honestly I'm done with razer. Their products are crap. I had a black widow keyboard that lasted about 9 months. I thought it was anti ghosting, except if I pressed three damn buttons at once then pressed just one more button, it would just not register anything... sigh... oh and the damn E key got stuck...

So glad I made the move to my new keyboard, the Max Nighthawk X9. Way better mechanical keyboard...

Anyway I am looking for a gaming mouse with at least five buttons (more buttons the better, I have a ton of macros and the naga was great for that) and with sensitivity between 2000 and 5600+ dpi. As long as it is within $100-150 I'll buy it as long it isn't a piece of crap.

It has 2 chassis

Weight system made around the center of mouse.
Very positive review, looks great.
If you wanna wait a couple weeks I could let you know if its a buy or not.

Love my G400 and Artisan Hayate mouse pad. Ironically the pad cost more than the mouse. tongue.gif

Take a look at the rocat kone[+] I changed to it from my Mamba and it is amazing. The sensor is just so much more acurate compared to the philips twin eye in most mice today.

I've got Razer DA for a long time and I'm quite enjoying it, but ...I feel I need change. What mice do you recommend?

Though I agree that most Razer products are terribly built, if you can get yours hands on a DeathAdder they are generally considered great mice here on OCN. They aren't built that badly and their sensors are great - not to mention the nice ergonomics on it. Really the only thing keeping Razer from being actually terrible.

I got a Cooler Master Storm Sentinel because it was cheap. Decent mouse but best used on a HARD surface. It messes up on soft surfaces frown.gif
