Need a good mouse for FPS.. mainly BF3. For the love of God do not recommend me any more razer crap. - Page 3

I used to have a razer diamondback, it was miles too long in my hand. The Mx518 is perfect size and weight.
I would suggest any Logitech gaming mouse I still have my MX518 its great but the scroll recently stopped working sucks for changing weapons in FPS...

Anyone have good thoughts about the steel series mice?

I had a MX518 for 4 years then went to a G400 (same mouse different feet & DPI) Have tried G5 G9 razer etc. The g400 Shape seems to fit me the best I only wish they would put the newer scroll wheel on it but.

Steelseries is junk imo.

Just get the G400 and be done with it.

I also don't recommend razer. Went through 2 diamondbacks, and I don't murder my mice.

G400's are pretty popular, I LOVE my Performance MX. The G700 also looks solid.

Check the for sale thread in this forum for some deals.

I'm sorry, but I am going to recommend a Razer Deathadder. You probably aren't treating mice the best. I had some guy go through five or six Deathadders and was complaining because he was breaking them.

It's just like a car: You take care of it, it takes care of you.

EDIT: I currently own a deathadder since June. It's practically september now, so that's four months. My mouse looks and functions as well as the day I have it.

I had exactly the same problem with my razer mamba. I'm sorry, but a $100 mouse should not crap out after a few months of normal use.

My recommendation is the Logitech G9x. I couldn't be happier with it.

Pittster how does the G400 compare to MX518? Ive got my MX518 now, had it just over 3 years but thinking of buying A G4100 just to have in the cupboard if this MX518 I got now needs replacing. I hope it to be the exact same the MX518?
