Need a good mouse for FPS.. mainly BF3. For the love of God do not recommend me any more razer crap. - Page 24

Oh I'm sorry, I didn't realize that a bunch of sub-par players have any right to give their sub-par opinions on things. I proved how good my mouse works with game-play, would any of you folks care to do the same? And if you can't read fine details I said "American-Hyped" not "American-Made".

Nobody's going to ask a bad fisherman their recommended choice of fishing poles. Just sayin'.

Just because your gaming skill is on par doesn't mean the mouse is good... You may pick a $5 mouse and win games, but it doesn't mean that mouse is better than others lol.

And I don't see it anywhere you mention in your first post about your gaming record with each mouse you have tried... You may be a celebrity somewhere else, but I don't even know you or what games you play or what prizes you have won. What have you proved? rolleyes.gif

Why would I use bad tools? And I'm not trying to prove anything, I'm just saying opinions weigh heavier with proof and merit.

@MLGcody

Were you referring to me? Because I'm not really a "gamer" anymore, nor do I care about how good someone plays with a specific mouse.

I try not to comment on such things as I tend to know a little too much about what goes into your "fishing poles" .

Proof and merit that not many of us have heard or seen. A military sharpshooter with a .22LR is deadlier than a 13 year old kid with a AR15, yet which gun is 'better'.

I'm totally with you, but it's prudent to recognize that the reason why "American-made" mice are overhyped is exactly because good players endorse them, regardless of quality. Is the Mionix a great mouse just because you play with it? Just sayin'.

Hey
I bought the logitech MX518 8 years ago and last weekend it stopped working. It was a good mouse !
Last Monday I bought the Roccat Kone + for 6000yen (76$) and so far I'm really happy. It's comfortable and it looks cool (with LED).
You can install a software to add macro and set the color of the lights.

I hope I can use it for many years as well !

I was hesitating with the Logitech G400, but I wanted something more sophisticated. The G400 is half price of the Kone+, but I don't really mind if I can use it for many years (as I did with the MX518)

Prove that your opinions weigh more than others'.

Many pros will in fact recommend mice that aren't anywhere near the mainstream because everyone has his/her own preferences. And everyone, regardless of skill level in gaming, or how qualified they are, is qualified to give his/her own opinion, because with a large enough database of constructive opinions ("I like this mouse because it's nice" won't cut it) the OP can make a better-informed decision on his mouse knowing that we have helped by putting in our 2 cents.

Just because some of us might be terrible gamers doesn't mean we don't have the right to comment on anything gaming-related. For all you know, the people who are pros with mice internals and all the nitty-gritty details involving mice (acceleration, dpi/cpi, polling, sensors, switches) might be the worst mouse jockeys on the planet. And I'm sure their opinions are well-formed and have backing behind them.

The OP will be brain-washed into thinking Razer and Logitech mice are the mice for him because of the sheer number of people who own them. I'm trying to prevent this. Is the Razer BlackWidow anywhere close to being the best mechanical keyboard? No. Do a substantial amount of people own it? Yes. Did they have positive things to say about it? Yes. Did that make me want to purchase it? Yes. And now my BlackWidow has ended up just being my backup keyboard because I ended up researching Mechanical Keyboards for a year and buying an imported Noppoo Choc Mini /w Brown Switches. Am I more satisfied with my purchase? Yes. Do I regret buying a BlackWidow now? Yes.
