just trying to help you out and keep you from investing 1000$ and be able to do what you expect

any laptop that is meant for gaming is going to be pretty damne expensive (the joys of a little package i guess)

are just using this for lan partys or is it a school thing that you want to play games on on your free time or something

they just dont make laptops like they used to
what happend to the good old days there p4 and amd athlon 64 ruled the laptops?i seen a laptop HP i think it was that had 1GB ram a 100GB hdd A64 3500+ and a 7800gtx less then 600 used
i woulda bought it but some1 beat me to it

it costs like preety cheap...a little over ur budget...yes...BUT u get a 7900GS That u can overclock
Forget about P4 and A64....they're from last generation..u want the core duo 2..its a tad faster.

forget about medium...it runs bf2 maxed at 1024 with AA on. It can overclock too
