I think this is pretty cool actually. I'm probably not going to buy CoD as I kinda got tired/bored around MW2. But I bet the fans of the series are going berserk over this thing. I know I would be biggrin.gif

It's hard for me to get excited about stuff like this considering the treatment of the PC gamers, especially after MW3. This last year has been extremely underwhelming for me and the CoD franchise. I've put some serious thought into buying a console just to play hacker-free, but... yeah, I'm going to have to refrain from making a dry comment about developer priorities here.

Consoles have just as many hackers. So beware, the the hacks may not be as extensive as the PC, but they have them. People run modded consoles or use hacked saves, router manipulation.

Haven't come into contact with any on MW3 or Black Ops on PS3. Or if they are... they aren't worth their trouble using them as they don't help.

MW2 was filled with them though last time I played it, but that was at the start of GeoHot releasing everything needed for it, so not sure if it's changed.

I don't know about PS3 but I know for sure 360 has them, I have seen people do them in the dorms.

Eh... not to sure about the number of hackers, or the sheer number of hackers vs. players as a percentage, but last night I tried to play MW3 PC and for about an hour straight I couldn't get away from wallhackers, aimbots, God mode, domination score changers, weapon modders, and even one guy trying to charge people for the ability to do what he was doing. I'm also fairly certain that IW cracks down a bit harder on console hackers, because the hackers I've seen on PC have been doing the same thing for months, same Steam ID, same everything, with no formal punishment. I was going to try to make my Youtube channel a gameplay channel but now it's just a host for the completely jacked up games that I have the misfortune of playing.

I mostly do multiplayer on Xbox 360 with my buddies, or we goto the common area and group up 3-4 TVs, 360s, and couple pony kegs and do 4 Player split screen team deathmatch. Usually brings 20-30 people. They also hold tournaments at a local Gameclucks.

PC has too many hackers, so its not worth gaming on with FPS multiplayer games. Mostly do Singleplayer games on PC. Black Ops has bots and they don't cheat which is nice.
