In that screen shot its showing your core & Mem is sitting at 324Mhz which is the idle clocks for both. So that is acting perfectly normal at idle.
If anything bumps the Gpu usage up the clocks will rise and go to what ever level it requires.
I had a hot temp issue with dual monitor on my old 280 SLI set-up. That guide would of been useful when i had those cards my solution was disconnect the 2nd display when I was going to leave my PC on.
But the 670 with dual screen idles at 28 deg which is the same as having one screen.
