Sorry guys, I decided that Red Rover has run his course. I will not be completing the LGA 2011 conversion in this build. Rather I will be starting a new build soon, of epicly small proportions, and will be using the x79 parts in it as well as the 7970. A lot of my parts will be listed for sale soon, probably today, so if you're interested in anything keep a look out in the classifieds.
The new build will be a Phantom Full Tower shrunk down to an M-ATX case that's smaller than M-ATX suggests, so watch for it
