anybody have any experience with logitech setpoint?

I have a logitech wave pro. It;s the wave keyboard and mx 1100 mouse. Really nice combo set I have had for a little while now. I want to know if there is anyway I can set setpoint to recognize my keyboard but NOT my mouse. The reason I ask is because I use CAD software and when setpoint is on I lose all function with the scroll wheel on my mouse as a third button. It zooms but does nothing else. For example: when I'm in 3DS max I can hold down alt and pressing the scroll whell down I can access the 3D orbit command. When setpoint is on I can't do this. It really slows down my workflow. On the other hand, if I turn setpoint off I lose all the on screen functions and features on my keyboard. I have tried asking directly on the logitech forum and website but no luck!!!
They haven't so much as looked at my post. I decided to ask here since everybody on here is always really helpful.

I've tried setting the scroll wheel to all the different possible settings through setpoint and nothing works. I either turn off setpoint to be able to use my mouse properly or leave it on to be able to use my keyboard properly. It would be nice to be able to use them both.

I would like to find a way to have setpoint recognize my keyboard and not my mouse.

Any help or advice will be appreciated.

PS: I already have the latest setpoint installed.

I know you mention trying every setting with the scroll wheel, but have you tried setting the mouse wheel to function as a generic button? I remember having the same issue in the past with the MX 3200 combo and AutoCAD, and I want to believe changing that setting fixed it.

Yeah, tried that too. I have the same issue with Autocad. Nothing seems to work.

i've never had any problems with setpoint in autocad, I would suggest completely uninsalling, then reinstalling of set point.

that usually has taken care of problems with mice with software that i've used.
