hello,

I'm definitely having an issue with my mouse sensor, or anything else.

Anybody has any clues about what is happening with this mouse ?

When I try to draw straight lines, this happens:

it's very bad,

can this be related to dust on the sensor ? What would be the fix for this ?

PS.: my surface is an Artisan Hien Hard

Thanks

Clean your mouse sensor and mouse pad, put lift off distance to minimum.

So far i haven't had this problem so i'm not 100% sure what's causing it.

My experience tells me that mice at high DPI jitters a lot on Hien (as well as on QcK)

I did the same thing as above with my G500 and Naos 5000 and both are smooth with no jitter. Maybe you need to clean your mouse/mousepad or your hand is shaking.

Do you mean me or OP?

I did the same on Shiden Kai and there was much less jitter:

the lines are not straight seems more likely due to my inability to move straight line on shiden kai...

I mean the OP and you. I'm using G500 + Naos 5000 on a QCK+

I'm not good at drawing straight lines, whether using a pen or a mouse

maybe that's why the lines are not straight at higher DPIs. The better test for jitter is probably drawing circles, which forces you to move the mouse across the mousepad at different angles.

Btw the jitter on my G500 at 5700DPI is more serious on QcK mini than on Hien Mid, but the least serious on Shidenkai and on the desk itself. The jitter is also more prominent when it's on 1000Hz than on 125Hz, and of course prediction is off

Interesting how you say that. All my mouses are set to max DPI and 1000hz polling rate.

Do you have mouse acceleration on or off?
