Hey guys.
So I've been on the fence forever, do I want bigger res or 120hz? I had no idea. I sold my eyefinity setup last night (I had been using one Acer H243H and 2 x Asus VE246s), and with it bought a Samsung S27A950D.
My god. Games feel amazing, even the desktop amazed me. I played a few rounds of CS:GO, the best way I could explain it is having 0 ping compared to like 100. everything is so fluid, it makes your mouse and keyboard feel a LOT faster.
My main worry was pixel density. 1920x1080 on 27" sounded yuck, I sit about 2-3 feet away from my screen (big desk) and I can honestly say it is really not an issue. People say text is blurry, but I have terrible eyes and text is fine. In fact I actually don't have to lean in to see text anymore.
TL:DR If you can't decide 120hz vs IPS - go 120hz.
