I still really don't get why people compare firepros and quadros. They're both workstation cards, but not for the same tasks usually.

How do you figure?

They are both workstation cards with an emphasis on professional graphics. They are aimed at very similar markets.

FireStream is defunct, and Tesla is NVIDIA's GPU computing-centric card.

Quadros are not for professional graphics they're for professional design. Solid Works, Inventor, Autocad, maybe 3ds Max and Blender as secondaries.
