Raid 0 TRIM support?

Thread Starter
I'm wanting to go back to raid on my SSD's, however is there any TRIM support yet?
Also, if not, what ill effects would I have from it over time?
Will a secure erease fix those ill effects or does an SSD wear down perminantly?
Thank you for help and support.
Here is one of my drives as reference. 10GB used space:

Yea, 7 series boards like your ASUS P8Z77 V-Pro supports TRIM in RAID 0 with newest driver. 11.2.0.1006

Sean, do you know why exactly 6 series boards aren't supported? Is it because they have an older RAID ROM? If so, what if you modify the RAID ROM to the latest - can you get TRIM working on them as well? (I know it is possible to update the RAID ROM, but I don't know the steps - yet.)

It won't worked.. tried. Best that anyone can tell is that Intel just restricted it, also applies to the X79 boards.

In my opinion, TRIM in RAID 0 on 6-series (Z68) chipset worked, provided you used IRST v11.5.2.1001 (disable IAStorDataMgrSvc service if experiencing memory leaked) and RAID OROM version must be 11.5.0.1582. I already tried it and in fact a "friend from Inside" confirmed it to worked rolleyes.gif

I could never seem to get it to work on P67, so did it only work on 68?

My friend from "Inside" told me that, "No 3rd party program or application can tell us that TRIM is really working, even an Hex Editor application". Besides, Intel SSD Toolbox can't optimize a RAID array drive. All we have to do for now is to trust or believe what Intel is telling us. But upon digging some information, I found out that IRST v11.5.2.1001 has no "Note: Beginning with the Intel® 7 Series chipset the driver supports TRIM on SSDs in a RAID 0 configuration" wherein v11.5.0.1207 there is a note like the above. Version 11.5.2.1001 is the latest leaked version, so I think they remove or edit the release note or whatever they call that if you open IRST - click Help - Contents - Introduction - Getting Started - TRIM.

You can also check with this command.
"fsutil behavior query DisableDeleteNotify" (In command prompt, admin mode)
If result = 0, TRIM is active!
Windows 7 64-bit only.
